Kelly’s first full racing season was in 2016 when she was a part of the Podium Ambition Scholarship programme racing for the Boot Out Breast Cancer Cycling Club. Her rapid progression in the sport has been impressive and in both 2018 and 2019 she won the Irish National Time Trial championships.
Also a part of the Irish National Track team, Kelly is a key part of their team pursuit squad which qualified for the World Track Championships for the first time in 2019 finishing 10th in a National record and further lowering this record in coming 8th at the 2020 World Championships in Berlin.
A competitor at the Road World Championships in Innsbruck in 2018, Kelly qualified for the Road Time Trial event at the Yorkshire 2019 Road World Championships finishing 24th ahead of some of the worlds most established Time Trial specialists.
In 2020 Kelly is looking to successfully defend her National title in Ireland and further build on some of the impressive road racing performances she has delivered in the past 12 months.
