The longest serving cyclist in the Storey Racing team, Katie began cycling as a 5 year old and has ridden for GB, Wales and Nicole Cooke’s 2009 professional team Vision One. A talented all-rounder, Katie was 7th in the Points Race at the Senior World Championships when she was just 18 years old. Debilitating illness saw her leave the sport for a number of years in 2009 but she returned in 2014 to secure the Tour Series title for a team mate before switching to become a team mate with Sarah Storey. Commonwealth Games selection in 2014 was a huge milestone in her return to the sport and numerous exciting results on the road and track have followed. Her speed and technical ability make her a role model to the rest of the team and her strength on the track and in circuit races make her a valuable asset to the team. Now living in Winchester with her husband, Katie works in a coffee shop around her training.
