About Dame Sarah:
With huge experience in a range of racing, Sarah is a reliable and strong rider to have in any team, quick thinking and able to play the support role as well as be a team leader. Having competed in 7 Paralympic Games (3 in cycling as Sarah was previously a swimmer), Sarah is now Great Britain’s longest serving athlete. Having given birth to her second child in October 2017, Sarah is working her way back to fitness and planning targeting the Paracycling Road World Championships in August as her first opportunity to be back to near full strength. Expect to see her riding in various events as a support rider to her team mates throughout the year and with a big aim for Sarah being the team on the start line of the World Team Time Trial Championships in Austria in September.
