After a successful weekend at the Tour de Yorkshire and the team’s event day at Cafe Ventoux, Eisberg Alcohol Free Wines has joined Storey Racing as a new sponsor to the team. Having created successful partnerships with the men’s cycling team Bike Channel Canyon and race events including The OVO Energy Tour of Britain, The OVO Energy Women’s Tour and Tour Series, Eisberg is taking their involvement up a gear by moving in to the women’s peloton.

Eisberg will not just supply the performance friendly non-alcoholic wines to the team but will support at events, create PR opportunity and bring access to training camps via the vineyards it has access to through wine partnerships.

Speaking of the chance to work with Eisberg, Sports Director Barney Storey was quick to praise the brand, “I am delighted the platform of Tour de Yorkshire has given us the opportunity to work with a new sponsor. Eisberg is expanding their cycling portfolio and it is a pleasure to have them on board. The additional opportunities their support provides will make a difference to how we grow as a team and we are also looking forward to sampling the product and raising a glass of bubbly to celebrate the success of Tour de Yorkshire.”

“Alcohol free drinks options are perfect in a sporting environment where the majority of athletes will go months between sips. There can also be huge pressure in social situations but the Eisberg range prove that great tasting options are out there without their nutrition having to suffer.”

The team motto of #BestVersionOfYou was really appealing to Eisberg who are keen to ensure everyone has access to a product that will support a healthy lifestyle, whilst getting involved in a sport that is leading the way in changing the nations health and wellbeing.

Director of Wine for Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine, Andrew Turner, adds: “”Signing up to support Storey Racing takes our involvement with cycling up a gear. It’s going to be a great summer of cycling and Eisberg will be there every step of the way to help teams and cycling fans to raise a glass and celebrate, without the alcohol or calorie content.”
