We are delighted to add Black Circle Coffee to our list of suppliers for 2018. Coffee and cycling go hand in hand and so it was an obvious connection for the team and the brand to make.
An online retailer for premium grade coffee, the brand offer coffee subscriptions so you never run out of your favourite blend. Whether it is a specific blend, a capsule style or a coffee bag option, Black Circle Coffee have everything you might need and can deliver any day of the week. Based in Congleton, Cheshire the brand is relatively new to the market having started in 2016, but it is already supplying some big name places like Selfridges.
Keen to work in the cycling world, Black Circle are coffee providers to the Women’s Tour, Tour of Britain and Tour Series and are involved with teams via Canyon Eisberg and now Storey Racing.
Speaking of the partnership with Storey Racing, Mark Slinger said, “I was introduced to Barney after the Tour of Britain in 2017 and really liked the team’s ambition and plans. We are a small company based locally to the team HQ and have done a lot in a short space of time, just like the team.”
“Everyone in cycling seems to be a coffee lover, so it makes perfect sense for us to be involved as we grow our brand and the way we supply the coffee. I am delighted to be sending packages out to the riders and also ensuring the team Motorhome is well stocked for the many 1000’s of miles that will be covered during the course of the racing year.”
Barney Storey, a self-professed coffee obsessive said, “I can’t be without a coffee at any time of the day and there’s nothing worse than attending a race and being unable to find a decent cup! To have the support of Black Circle will ensure that worry is no more and all our riders will have access to the best blends be it for that training pick me up, or pre race kick.”
