2017 saw a new brand bursting in to the sponsorship scene of cycling. From event sponsorship to team sponsorship, Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine have been a superb addition in the cycling sponsorship market.

For Storey Racing this partnership began after the Tour of Yorkshire, when impressed by the team’s first few weeks of racing, they made an approach to become involved with their first women’s cycling team.

It was an inspired connection, just at the start of the Tour Series where EJay Harris collected the Eisberg Sprints Jersey after dominating the competition from the 3rd round.

The addition of Eisberg to the list of team sponsors enabled the team to increase their competition plans and as a result the team headed out to the Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour, where they achieved the jersey for Best Amateur on 4 of the 7 stages including day 1 where EJay Harris came 4th in the prologue.

Eisberg extended their event sponsorship to track racing with London Six Day and again Storey Racing riders performed with distinction as Neah Evans and Emily Nelson both made the overall podium after performing consistently in all events and a dominating performance in the final madison.

As 2018 approaches fast, Eisberg have renewed their intentions to remain in cycling and will be a key part of the Storey Racing journey. Their increased involvement provides the opportunity for the team to expand their race programme which will be released in due course.

Commenting on the decision to extend their sponsorship in to 2018, Andrew Turner of Eisberg said, “Storey Racing is a unique team within the women’s peloton as it is headed up and actively led by Sarah but also because they have year round competition schedule which provides consistent exposure to our brand. Their first year has been very impressive and with the line up they have brought together for 2018 we are excited to see how they continue to progress.”

Barney Storey, Sports Director for Storey Racing was quick to praise Eisberg for their approach, “We are obviously delighted to welcome Eisberg back to our team as a key sponsor for 2018. The brand have a forward thinking approach to sponsorship and have been conscious of ensuring they are active within both men’s and women’s cycling. Their backing is vital to our continued progression as a team and we look forward to 2018.”

Eisberg will be assisting in the hosting and presentation of the team at their Team Launch in March, to receive information from Eisberg about unique press opportunities at this event please email StoreyRacing@talktalk.net
